Kings County Home Care Services is pleased to be able to offer to both new and long term employee's a comprehensive Personal Support Worker Training Program. Personal Support is offered to clients in many different ways .This course will help you develop skills in providing Personal Support to those clients who need extra care in helping them cope with every day challenges.

There are multiple tools to help you study. These include questions at the end of each chapter, a website which offers practice questions and answers, printed study guides and answer keys, and peer study and discussion groups. This course should take approximately 10 months if tests are written every two to three weeks. All tests will be written with closed book ands supervised. Some students will complete the course in less time but on average 9 hours per week will keep a consistent pace.
